If you get (for example) Miche Primato cranks with the Miche bottom bracket then it will all go onto the bike fine and will give a decent 42mm chainline.
The Miche bottom bracket allows some fine tuning as neither of the cups has a lip to prevent it being screwed further into the frame, the only thing to look out for is that they sometimes unscrew themselves- although I think this is usually only on Italian threaded versions.
I would recommend using some plumbers tape to secure the cups of the bottom bracket anyway for peace of mind if nothing else.
So- remove current cranks and BB, chuck them in the bin, stick new Miche (or whatever) on, job's a good'un.
