Lets have a look at the evidence- helpfully found in your post.
You are using your calves more as you are new to fixed.
They ache slightly.
I see a correlation here- am I making a school boy error?

You are using your calves more as you are new to fixed. And you have AIDS
They ache slightly. Due to all the drugs to take for the AIDS
I see a correlation here- am I making a school boy error?

It'll pass, just keep cycling.
Like a baby learning to walk, i'm still struggling to get the hang of this fixed melarcy. I'm getting there but i've noticed slightly stiff/sore calves. Because i'm no longer freewheeling, I am using those calf muscles a lot more - or am i just a wuss.
