I have been using the Schwalbe Marathon Plus for the last 3 years for my daily commute (15miles) - massive improvement on the Nibus Armidillo... I get apprx 1500 miles out of th back tyre which is not bad for a 19st lump on top of my bike... Bugger to get on and off but the volume of punctures has been so minimal it has not mattered.
