@ Jaw: yes, some lfgss-ers have experience. But not all sellers (and buyers) are 100% reliable and fast in communication.
I think he's waiting for higher bidders. Or waiting for you to place the bid on Markplaats, sso other people can outbid you (and increase the price). Just wait a few days and meanwhile send reminders to the seller).
