a beautiful girl on a white unipack in knightsbridge around 7.30pm made some of my journey home a bit more fun, and made a unipack look good for once...

There has been worse. Much much worse.

But, if your wondering what they are on about Fred, I have this pet peeve about the only comments going up on the spotted thread about girls being about how they look. Please re-dress the balance by commenting on a girl you see today doing something awesome instead. Let's get some more ladies (no matter what they look like) on their bikes instead of setting up a culture where the girls that do ride feel patronized and the ones that don't see it as a male dominated scene and won't start.

As long as they looked behind themselves when crossing the line and made sure they didn't collide with anyone, I can't see the problem.

anyway, spotted today while me and Gina G were out looking for bike stuff to geek out on: teddy on Mare St; jonny just leaving Tour De Ville; teddy in Tour de Ville; Jos and Ross selling stuff in Tour de Ville; Pistanator clutching armfuls of used goods selling me stuff on the corner of Holloway and Camden Rd; edscoble selling me stuff on Grays Inn Road, and Cake, fishtailing his greetings as he rolled past outside Condor. Lovely day yo..!

A few groups of fixies banding about Islington around 3-4 am. My colleagues gazed in wonderment at some of the narrow handlebars...

About a hundred fixers at the southbank beach party last night and a young lady 'Do a Skid'ing me at about 2am down by London Bridge/Pirate ship bit/cobbled street, I laughed because I was so wasted I was struggling to do a pedal let alone a skid on cobbles.
