I did like Hine Rare Champagne until i discovered Maxime Trijol. i can only afford the VSOP, but it's fantastic.

current bottle is Prunier. i tend to buy bottles from small producers rather than the big brands. i think you get better value that way.

changing the subject slightly waitrose have a fiver off bottles of English harbour rum. it's very nice stuff.
