I used to believe in this before everyone and his wife started cycling in London to avoid the tube.
Since being cut up, crashed into, and held up, by idiot nodders, I have abandoned this view.
Sorry?

it's such a shame that the modern police officier have to deal with wearing too much layers, riding a mountain bike that lose a lot of your own energy when you're accelerating, etc. making it seemed like a chore to do than another mean of transport, bring back the old bobbies;

Well said Ed.
Who the fuck advises them on cycling procurement ? Why the fuck do our police ride on London's roads with 2.4 inch MTB tyres ? It must be a fucking nightmare to ride one of those bikes dressed like a storm trooper.

Sharing this because I like the philosophy and always believed in it meself when I was riding in London.

"What impressed me the most about Sable & Argent is their tagline, 'Anyone on two wheels is a friend'. A philosophy about which, especially in Sydney, we need to be constantly vigilant, and enjoy the comraderie which this will bring about. Sydney, where two wheeled riders, both motorised and pedalised, are a minority and need to band together for strength."
Two great stores in Sydney mix motors and pedals.
