yes - you should be fine. as long as you are not putting very big tyres onnthere (29er?)
No chance to use the canti mounts though... -

i'm running 700's on my charge stove, plenty of clearance
-
• #4
Nah itll be road tyres 23/25.
Lovin the look of the Stove.
Watchin some forks on the bay, hopefully get a pair of jump/street type forks like you have on the stove. -
• #5
note: the charge ones weigh as much as a frame!!! be warned.
i'm running 700x28 currently and ted runs 700x32 i believe.

True but iv just whacked some 3piece bmx cranks and a massive bmx ring and bash guard (which il never use) on it so the weights not fussing my the now.
Watching some Pace trials forks that shouldn't be too heavy anyway. -

pics of your stove dogs?
p.s if your buying meaty forks for trick don't go and make the forks irrelevant by putting 23 m tyres on 28 mm or 32 mm
-

It aint for tricks, jus for a...um...idea iv had.
Everyone will hate it. -

i've got the bmx style downhill bars on and wider tyres now.
-
• #10
Looks quite good, def need the higher bars though for a bike like that.

Trailblades are suspension corrected so there's plenty of space, most rigid jump forks are.

Ended up buying a Pace trials fork.
Hopefully it"ll come in tomorrow and i can check the fit etc.
Some of the Project2 forks are sus corrected but instead of longer legs they have the crown race about 2" up the steerer tube. Reckon they would look like a turtle with its head stretched out lol. -

Do not buy DMR forks (This is the only time I'd say that, I love my DMR).
You need none suspension corrected forks or your headangle will end up slacker than [insert slack vented celebrity here]. -
• #15
I haven't bought DMR's but as the DMR's are pretty much straight wouldn't the slackening of headangle by the longer fork be counteracted by the lack of rake/trail/lead whatever you call it? Ie although the angle of the headtube would be slacker the relative positions of handlebars and hub would be about the same.

The rake still works out as too much. Did a load of research and maths when I was looking for a bombproof rigid mountain bike fork for my surly (polo bike).

Pace trials forks are beautiful by the way. Nicely done.
-
• #18
Yeah they are really sweet. I havent cut the steerer etc and my b/b is fucked at the mo so not been out for a ride but iv mocked it all up and looks pretty good. Doesnt seem too much higher than with the standard forks. Forks are the standard welded on legs type rather than the fancy seperate legs and crown rigids that Pace do but still lovely forks.

from the page you linked:
45cm (17 3/4" ) axle to crown
it seems that yes, 700c should fit w/o problem. for example, Steamroller's fork has 38cm and can fit 700x38c, with 7cm more you should have lots of clearance (even with the fork being unicrown).
Will fit wont it?
Forks like project2s or DMR jump forks im talkin about.
