  • Does anyone know where to buy the seal rings which come with 7600 DA hubs? I'm missing the 4 required for the rear hub and would like to get it sorted before the rainy season.

  • i need some aswell, i spoke to kieth at tour de ville and he said to special order them

im sure there is a better way though

  • If no other way is suggested maybe we could get a group buy sorted direct from shimano, I'm sure there are other people on here that will be after a pair or two.

I think you may have more success with shimano

  • fail, I have no idea why I wrote that

  • im going to enquire about them at work on monday, i may be able to get some through special orders so i'll have to get back to you about it

  • Nice one, cheers

  • Stick me down for some as well.

  • I have some at work I do not need. I think I only have three though as I lost one. If anyone wants them PM me and you can collect from me in Shoreditch during the week

  • Stick me down for a set if you can find some

  • ill have some if a bulk order goes through, cheers

  • Did anyone ever find these? It's starting to get rainy and I'm starting to get paranoid...

  • Morning bump for one of you bike shop workers!

  • Part numbers are Y-216 04000 for front and Y-360 09000 for rear

  • Just been on the phone to madison myself with no luck :( booo

  • I think you'll struggle with spares; I wanted just to get replacement cones for a LF Dura Ace track hub and even Japanese webshops with access to Shimano catalogue (same as Petra Cyles etc have with Madison UK) showed them as out of stock.
Ended up having to order a whole rear axle unit from Madison.

  • Hey guys, i had a real hard time trying to get spares for my DA hubs. But will from HubJub came up trumps in the end. They came from the states. Petra took ages to reply and the shimano spares guys the same. I’d give will a shot. Just get the exact reference for the part and email him. I really really need seal rings too! So let me know if you have any luck.

  • Thanks. Email sent

  • Isnt it 2 for the rear hub and 4 for the front hub? also do they degrade or wear badly? I have a fresh set but wondered if its worth having spares?

  • You have a fresh set?
What's your address and when are you out?

  • no as in i have just picked up a pair of hubs from the post office... ask rene at NJS supermarket. He seems to have the right people picking up old shimano stuff.. good bet for sourcing and seems to be really good at helping you avoid hefty charges.

  • i'm gonna email rene now. Will mention there is a few of us after them.

  • done a bit of reading and are the ones shipped in the box spares? they seem to be part of the hub assembly as they are shipped... or am i way off? They are included in the exploded diagram of the hub...

  • I think they're left out when delivered, as they increase rolling resistance and aren't needed indoors. But are included in the box incase you're venturing outside

  • i had best fit them then... im never a fan of opening unsealed hubs... am i likely to get the bearings pinging over the room?
