I like footy, just not those who play it, cricket drags for me a little bit and I have a beautiful example of an Australian girl waiting for me at home; also i'm a bartender, and have drank myself into oblivion in the past, now it all seem like a bit of nonsense to me really; I'm happy just acting right and riding my bike...
I think, in this forum, we've found our answer- Australians are hated over here because of how they act as tourists- this (in some cases) in turn is a reaction to how the British act as tourists which is a reaction to how they're treated as tourists due to our long standing sporting rivalries, which, in many people's eyes, is all we have going for us. I think, in the full finality of it all, if both nations stopped acting like such cocks on eachother's shores and realised we're more the same than different we'd all get along better...
But as if that's going to happen, coz those damn poms can't get over the fact we're better than them =P
