What's an HTML marquee? Is it an outdated page style?
-
• #6
It looks fun. I'd want to go there.

It's that news-ticker-style banner across the top of the page after the intro. They were the hot shizzle in 1998.

It's that news-ticker-style banner across the top on page after the intro. They are always in fashion. If only LFGSS.com had one

Ah, I didn't even see that, as NoScript nuked it.

NoScript? Are you some sort of JavaScript Luddite?
-

@ VB - Are you going to use your clout for some reduced rate tickets?

There's not much worth buying at the show Ved. You just have to apply self restraint on following up any interest you have on good kit.

• #15
oh no! not already...
it signifies the end of the season :(
I'll probably be there at some point though

yes will be there at some point, trying to remember which days I went last year (had a trade pass and went in a few times) I think the Sunday was actually the better day ref crowds/people on stands to talk to.

Is this whats replacing BIKE 2007, BIKE 2008 etc etc.
As in can we expect more of the same as what has been seen at previous shows, good discounts on parts on the day, decent bmx/trials/dirt jumping displays etc etc?
-
• #22
I've just registered for the trade day (free)
beware the small print...they will be checking ID and looking for proof that you actually work in the cycle trade at the door.....

I am off work on the Friday so am gonna head down. Love a good show me!

last year the only lot allowed to sell were Condor - at full retail price, so had to argue for LCC discount.... Had quite a large 'village' with plenty of people to help.
certain vendors wanted to sell but were contractually bound not to.
sucked. I doubt this year will be any different.

As far as I know, the 'retail zone' will be open to others?
Only a few months away... who else is down?
