dude those are downhill gloves and hot as hell!
I've got a pair somewhere for mtb.. but the carbon knuckles make them really un-flexible.
OP - just go try gloves on.. don't spend more than £30, they're just gloves and will fail/get filthy eventually.. Gel is good if you're riding for longer periods of time, but don't buy anything with holes in the palm "to let your hands breathe" they don't work and you'll just shred them.
