I believe those date from 1979. The shoe may, itself, 'transcend hipsterdom,' but wearing them 'ironically' or because you have some sort of hard-on for the early 80s (but wern't alive during the early 80s) might make them a hipster accessory.

I only score four on hipster bingo. (Lock, bag-although not huge, NJS and ocasional vans wearer.) I'd say with the exception of NJS to which I'm no slave, a good lock, sturdy bag and sensible shoes are all fine. I'm going to adjust my score to 1. Happy days.

How are Iphones and tweed hipster and skinny jeans not?

They're fucking awesome! I like the vocals, much more punchy than the kind of high pitched shit you get with bands like AIDS Wolf.

It's a hipster pub but they put on some fucking wicked music. I've seen Health and Fucked Up play there before, and the atmosphere is awesome. Everything just gets totally fucked up like a crap house party.
