And thats fine, its your choice, but if you don't follow the rules, other people have every right to be annoyed with you. You make the choice, be it RLJ or whatever, but be aware that if you step out on a zebra pushing your bike, cars are not obliged to stop for you.

Edit: Anyone who walks out onto a zebra without checking that the cars are stopping is of course an idiot.

I am down in Chichester for a couple of months, a very cycle friendly place - the majority of Ped Crossings here have a separate bicycle button to press for a cyclist, as the cycle lanes use the Ped Crossings to ensure you can cross over without putting yourself at risk There are also lots of Ped Crossings in London (e.g coming out of hyde park) that are also designed for cyclists
