• Hurrah!

I feel a bit dirty from reading the Express though...

  • Is it me or has anyone noticed many more women cycling in London this summer?

  • Think you're right, numbers have been gradually increasing over the last few years but I reckon there's been a bit of a jump recently.

  • Yeah, no doubt. There's something about the tenor of the abuse that tends to be different, is all.

Their genders, race, religion and sexuality are irrelevant.

Gender, race, religion, weight and sexuality are all irrelevent.....until someone does something we don't like and then it seems to be the first point of attack. Mathew Parris' sexuality was brought up pretty quickly after his article for example.

It's not right but it seems to be the way it is.

  • Matthew Parris likes treking in the Peruvian Andes. I find that unacceptable as it is both exploitative of the local population and environmentally inappropriate to fly so far for personal amusement. He is also a Tory.

What he does with his willy is his concern and not mine.

    That bloke copped it.

Matthew parris has been writing in The Times about cycling again today. As you now have to pay to read The Times on line and I have already paid for a paper copy I cannot link the article or paste its contents. Basically what he says is that he hates cyclists but enjoys riding a bike and rode a series of Bozza Bikes and liked them because he is a Tory and so is Bozza.

A nasty little man is still a nasty little man even when you put a bicycle between his legs.

  • Do you actually pay to read this shit Clive?
He sounds like a right tool

  • That's OK. Most of us hate him too.

  • hates cyclists but enjoys riding a bike

Sounds like he should join the forum.

  • trudat

  • why should you like cyclists just because you ride a bike?

  • Wow, what a scathing depiction of cyclists. It turns out Minette Marrin has some pretty, shall we say right-field, views including defending Nick Griffin...

Having strong views on the National Black Police Association...

    And generally criticising multiculturalism...

I'm quite glad she doesn't like cycling.
