Sorry, I'm a little reluctant to try the hammer approach at present!
I've actually had the BB taken out at BLB. It cost me a tenner, but I've had it left out as I'm trying to unseize the seat post, so I guess another tenner to put back in. :(
I'll need to take it out again at some point in the near future as I'm going to have the frame powder coated, so I was thinking about maybe buying a tool.
The BB itself is Sakae it says on it 1.37" x 24T, I have another bike with a Campag BB which looks very similar.
Fox, where are you based if I could borrow that would be fantastic!
