The regular cheap rubino's last for ages. Ive had one on my bike for over a year now I think, ive don my fair share of skidding on it too but it still looks fine.
The grip in wet is poor, in the dry its good but skids feel a bit jittery/chalky on them.
I was worried that they be shit when they formed cracks in the rubber pretty immediately, but it turned out to be totally superficial. Ive never had a puncture yet despite at times actively riding over glass.
