• OK - I have read it and digested the information. This stands out:
*"Effectively there is a cooling-off period in which new members should get acclimatised to the forum and get to see how it works, and the forum should get a moment to become familiar with the new person. We are basically forcing you to ease yourself in gently... but honestly, doing so is better for you, this place can be harsh so just go with it."

    *
Now let me make my case: I am very much in contact with members of your forum (I daren't say 'our forum' in case I am still in the quarantine...sorry nursery) on a face-to-face basis.

Lovely people that you all are in person, you actually care about the reality of what happens in the outside world - I NEEDED a chainring with 110 BCD to complete a recycling project by this week - I nearly went out and bought one from the shops when one of your **own **considerate members told me to ask within this forum as people are keen to recycle their parts and generally support initiatives.

She also told me not to spam, troll, threaten, spit, swallow etc etc - she also told me to come in and be timid, demure, shy and ask innocent questions which would then allow me to introduce my motive - this in my book is **lower **than stating my motive upfront.

Indeed, if I had asked for advice on where to get frame paint to match my existing nail varnish colour, perhaps the flaming would have been worth it...

So, my crime was to mistakenly post in the wrong area - I apologise and am happy to delete my post but guess what - us toddlers can't do this.

So, all noted and I remain reprimanded and exiled in my nursery for however long you see fit.

Just don't go damaging your chainrings or chucking them down the canal because of my childish need to ask for a spare part - for which I would have been happy to pay what was asked of course...
