• Like everyone I miss a lot of the old school stuff, the 90's was a great era for bmx, and a lot of my favourite riders come from that era, but inevitably things move on, and the young guns move in. I think actual street riding has progressed no end, and the fact that the x-games course is now a simulated street enviroment (instead of the previous park course thing....park is not street!), is a step towards progress, I mean who would have thought 10 years ago that people like Aaron Ross would be busting out hop whip 360's down big stair sets, or 540 hops down some substantial stair sets, and all the other mental shit that people like him are doing.
There is a lot of repetitive shit in bmx these days, but there always was, always will be, i've lost interest in park almost entirely now, but there are still plenty of amazing riders out there, you're just more likely to find them riding on the actual streets, or down the local trails.

Viva Le Street, Viva Le Dirt, Viva le motherfucking progression.

    :)
