(so my question is, can anyone recommend a good 26-inch wheelset, 200 quid max. would be nice if it comes in colours but not a necessity!)

just get a set of your favourite 26 inch rims and build them onto any cheap formula/system ex hub and bobs your uncle

^ yep, what he said. But with £200 budget you can much nicer hubs than the formula.

Hi, know this may be a bit of a weird question as most fixed conversions are 700c or 27-inch, but i'm thinking of converting this which is a mtb frame
This has never been done before, I would write a will and consult my priest.
Hi, know this may be a bit of a weird question as most fixed conversions are 700c or 27-inch, but i'm thinking of converting this which is a mtb frame: http://www.adtrader.co.uk/image_show2.php?image_id=10345875 (that's not my bike, but the same frame and fork). was after something like the halo aerorage as i have the halo combat rims on another bike and like them, but need a fixed hub. i think with skinnier tyres than on there, i could fit 700c's on but i want to have at least one brake.
