the pedal doesn't go in at all. the threads on the crank are standard but the threads on the pedal go the other way.

take the cranks back! shouldnt be like that, not on any type of crank, thats ridiculous! obviously a manufacture mistake or user error ;) (2 right hand threaded pedals?)

the pedals are grand, they work in 2 other cranksets. i reckon it's a thread insert that got put in back to front. i'll start the complaining process tomorrow (with wiggle).

miche= french... could be french threaded cranks ie no revers thread...

It wouldnt be the first time Ive seen cranks or bottom bracket cups with the wrong threads cut on them. Its not just a french quirk, its wrong. Take them back.

so i just put together my new build tonight, i was almost done but when i went to put in the non-drive side pedal (this was the very last part) it wouldn't go on. when i looked at it i saw that it was threaded standard (righty tighty) not backwards. is this normal with this crankset or should i complain?
