  • hey Diable, was'nt it you that said we should all wind our necks in on this one?none of you'd have to worry about tyre levers ifzzzzzzzz
    bores self to sleep

    and?

like I was being serious pffft

  • rocker9455, don't take it so hard. I think your review was fine. VB wanted to add a review section, and I think it would do the forum good. Most on here though think the forum should just be a great wheeze/laugh/craic, but info is handy, no matter what people say.

Keep reviewing, but do PM me when you get to brake rubber replacements. Thats going to be exciting! ;)

  • Man, I go out for dinner and the wheely good punning stops and is replaced by boring seriousness. You all should shut up and roll on! And rocker, you should definitely re-tyre from reviews.

(does that count? Its kind of related)

P.S. Who ever wrote the BAD PUN tag is a cunt.

  • How did I miss this gold?

  • You guys are seriously harsh sometimes.

    +1.

Actually, it's not the harshness I object to, it's the fucking playground mentality where one person says something needlessly unpleasant and every other cunt without an original thought in their fucking head comes out and says the same thing.

but what i don't like is not so much the harshness but the way it's like at school where one person says something unnecessarily nasty and then all the other twats who don't have a novel idea in their bonces repeats it more or less word for word.

Or again, that thing you can remember when you were a kid where some bully picks on someone by coming out with something upsetting and the other, intellectually bankrupt shitheads just regurgitate the same comments without even bothering to change the phraseology.

it's not dissimilar to recollections i have of my youth where some of the more thuggish elements would aver an atavistic view and other, perhaps one might say, equally uncomprehending associates would chime in with little or no effort at innovation.

  • Oh dear

  • that was great you two...

  • man the tags are fucking brutal, il be sure to never ever contribute anything again

I think these have got to be the least br00tal tags I has ever seen.

rocker, if ya read the above, might make you feel better.

wiganwill's response at top of page 2 was an outstanding piece of banter

regardless of my rant, some of the responses were lame and should support your notion that there indeed some childish behaviour on this site

    ;)

  • Good effort, but no review in the world, no matter how glowing, could ever convince me that there's a better tyre lever than the mighty yellow michelin

Aye these things are incredible, I think they are made from a special plastic found at an alien crash site.

Still prefer my Speed Lever, though they are a bit flimsy, personally I carry a Crank Bros Speed Lever and a single Michelin lever just in case.

  • +1 on the michelin levers. been using mine for ages. plus, they give you three right off the bat. that's 50% more lever!

plus, they're plastic. metal levers fuck up teh rims.

  • my favourite tyres levers are some pretty retro ones, light yellow and branded either michelin or Velox. They are really tough & non-flexible. They work great.

    edit: reading above posts fail.

Yup like those michelin's above. Amazing!

  • I'm the worlds most short tempered, heavy handed mechanic. I have yet to break one of these....

people who are currently riding each other and a good school friend beat off Matt Hoffman
he really did 'fux' that reply up, it was pretty funny to read, this quote is my favourite! i cant believe i missed that thread!? i was around back then!

best levers by far, even though you only need one, had mine well over 10 years

mmm, must try some out and then NOT review them

The reason I own those tyre levers, is because someone took the time to post on tinternet (feck knows where) that they were tough as hell. The world of bicycle tinkering is full of dull seemingly unimportant components/tools, which in reality can make a real difference to your bike and tinkering pleasure
