go to/call your local paint shop and ask them how to remove it off your wheels....might be your best bet
its good to hear your still in one piece
what you mean by where you stand with a d-lock???
should of taken that d-lock and started flapping it around (i think reinforced steel is stonger the bone :P )- that would of made them think twice about attacking you
