Last night a load of scrotes tried to nick my bike, I managed to stop them, however in the process of getting my head kicked in by a group of 16 guys they picked up a load of paint and my wheels, frame, forks and chain are covered in paint.
I have managed to get some of the paint off the frame but due to painful injuries I am having a hard time sorting the wheels, etc. out. does anyone know a good way or someone who is cheap at this. I have been using white spirit with varying degrees of success.
Also if anyone was around to witness please pm me. it was about 8:30 last night (16th) by the narrow boat pub (on the canal near Kingsland Road) 16 black guys, a lot wearing red t-shirts/hoodies. I'm sorta ok, just a few head injuries, shoulder, neck and concussion. My partner was ok, just shocked.
Any info on the above would be great as I blacked out a little missing some of the action and therefore can only remember one face. Police and ambulance were helpful and agreed a lot and gave me advice in future where I stand with a D-Lock.
Thanks in advance and hope no-one else has to go though this.
