i was at an antiques fair once and witnessed a lady looking a pair of curtains with a view to buying them. from nowhere stranger appeared on her shoulder and offered in a soft and helpful tone"shame about the sun fading" potential buyer thought about it for a moment and then put them down and walked off. later that afternoon the helpful lady felt no remorse as she sipped on her glass of port , smiled to herself and admired her newly acquired vintage liberty curtains.
