Unfortunately the crack in the seat-tube means that i have to have it blasted. Mainly so that the person who's fixing it can see what he's doing.
Also, blasting it means that i can properly check for other discrepancies in the frame.
Another reason for the blasting is, there are a fair few rust spots on the frame which are quite bad. It will be good to see how the frame looks once back to bare metal.
I was thinking about either trying to source some decals (as i love the originals), or getting someone to replicate them. This is still something i might do, but i'll probably blast it, get it fixed, and then clear coat it...
