My Grandfather repainted it blue and applied "BMX" stickers, he also sourced a black and yellow checked handlebar and top tube pad for it.
Needless to say this is because I really wanted a BMX at the time.
I ended up with something indistinguishable from a proper BMX if you were a) blind and b) could heft the 3,000lb weight of the thing.
