This a very bright front light, regularly used for daily commuting in the darker months but bought primarily for the Dunwich Dynamo, and twice it's cut out towards the end.
Don't get me wrong, it holds a really good charge, and recharges very quickly. It's good piece of kit but compared to some of the lights in the next price bracket (£100+) it's not so good. It spans the market between "Halfords" lights and "I haven't got that kind of money" lights.
The light is self contained, compact, light, easy to mount, and easily removed from its' fixing mount when required.
Cycling Plus reviewed the Cateye Single Shot Plus EL610 as 'Striking a balance between power and visibility, this is the value-for-money choice' 9/10 recommended.
A bright light, more spot than flood and maybe a shade brighter than a 10w halogen.
