Ohhh, I love silkies! My parents used to have them. They're funny, because they look like animated feather dusters, but they take themselves Very Seriously. (A couple of ours were always picking fights with the other chickens. Clearly compensating for something.)
They're hilarious but still very wee - it'll be a while before they go in with our other two chucks. I can see what you mean about the whole 'taking themselves seriously', the little boy especially - i'd like to see them trying to start a fight though - the others are a Light Sussex and Maran - they're both HUGE in comparison (although a little thick, which is saying something for chickens).
That said, Silkie cockerels aren't meant to be too aggressive which is why he's staying, at least for the moment. My two daughters are still little enough to get scared by a stroppy mini-chicken...

Here's a better pic of my dog, seeing the other one was of her eating a cow's bone..
Can't use a hose in a garden without her wanting to join!

aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i loooooooooooove chickens!!!! one day i will have a garden so i can keep some!
Well - the grey was a he, not a she. 'George' looks like this now:
Oh, and he takes himself VERY seriously indeed despite still being teeny compared to our other 'proper' chickens who he desperately tries to boss about / hump (though he hasn't quite got the hang of the latter yet). It's the chicken equivalent of a 15 year old teenage boy trying it on with someone's grandma when he goes near our old Maran...

One of my Cat's. She's called Pippa. Extremely laid back and lovable.
Other 3 are:- Annoying, follows you about, screams at you.
- Dumb, headbutts cabinets, shits and pisses in the pantry.
- Scared, skinny, old. If you look at it, she'll run.
