Vintage Peugeot conversion help and tips please

i actully had a pug seatpost in my hand yesterday, i put it somewhere 'safe' and then forgot where i put it (don't you hate when that happens!?) anyway, i'm sure it will turn up sooner or later.

Think I may have one soon, not in a rush as still trying to sort out the frame itself
