Joine today after I finally twigged it isn't just London based. Had read quite a few threads before as this place always turns up in Google searches.

If humans were ment to learn to spell, dictionaries would not have been invented...and then replaced by PC spell checkers.

I cant stand some of those abreviations, sensible people need to come up with some new ones, ones that actually reflect the responce of the reader. For example; STS = smirked to self (something that was funny but did not warrent a laugh)
I mean who actually Laughs Out Loud to everything that is even remotely funny, and how exactly does one laugh ones ares/ass off? Some one please enlighten me.
And as for FFS if something is really getting on your nerves it helps to actually use the word F%*k to emphisise ones distaste.Rant over!

Hi all. I've been in town for 2 weeks, starting my PhD at Imperial. I ride a Dolan FXE and I thought this might be a good group to join.

Hi all,
This is my first post. Stay tuned for the 2nd and 3rd as they are sure to impress.
2nd post here, not much more to add though.
Looking for a fixed gear to start off so scrolling around the threads and classified section to see if there's one I can nab myself.Oh fucking dear.
I thought it was about time I registered here, seeing as I've been silently mining the forums for info for a while. I live in East London and at the moment have a geared silver Viscount and a rather clunky 1970s green Halfords racer that I converted to single speed. I'm building a fixed gear at the moment, so am looking forward to getting that on the road (though it might take some time...). So, anyway, hello!
