This frame is ideal for a budget conversion - it is in a very sound condition though the paint leaves quite a bit to be desired - its an ideal candidate for powder coating. £35 SOLD

HEWITT COUGAR? RANDONNEUR

This is a very beautiful frame that is decaled as a Hewitt - however the fork crown and rear brake bridge have Cougar engravings - Hewitt have never built their own frames and its quite posible Cougar built it for Hewitt. It has horizontal dropouts with mudguard eyes - the clearances are such that it can be used with 23mm tyres, mudguards and Campy dual-pivot brakes. This is a very beautiful and light frame - its certainly not standard Reynolds 531. £135

MONZA Reynolds 501

This frame looks as if it has hardly been used. For a budget frame its light - its main tubes are Reynolds 501 double-butted. Its pretty much ideal for a budget conversion. The naff decals I think can be peeled off... £22 **SOLD **

RALEIGH RANDONNEUR TOURING FRAME 1988

Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double-butted
This frame has braze-ons for a rear rack and for cantilever or V-brakes. This frame is in excellent condition except that its had the slightest of bumps - the down tube has a very small bump behind the lug which is extremely difficult to see but which can be felt. This won’t affect the strength or handling of the frame to any noticeable extent but hence it is only £28 SOLD

SIBBIT TRACK c1938

Jack Sibbit was a very successful track racer in the 1920s and 1930s winning many National championships and representing Britain in the Olympic Games. His bike shop was in Manchester and he seems to be of the very few framebuilders who specialized in building track bikes - most Sibbit frames I have seen have been track ones. This frame is in very sound condition with the original decals and comes complete with its original bottom bracket and headset. The lugs are extremely nice with beautiful clean shaping and brazing. £195

VIKING 1970s

ARCHIE WILKINSON SPEEDWAY

Brake drop with 700C wheels: 39mm
This frame is was designed for Cycle Speedway with rearward facing track ends and straight forks which can even with 700C wheels be rotated through 360 degrees. Cycle Speedway riders use 26in wheels - however there is just enough clearance for 700C wheels with a 23mm tyre. £59 SOLD

TOURING FRAME POSSIBLY RALEIGH

This is a nicely made touring frame which is complete with braze-ons for both front and rear racks and cantilever or V-brakes. It was sold to me as a Raleigh but I would not be certain the frame number is very indistinct. It needs painting hence only £45 SOLD subject to payment

TRACK FRAME 1940s

This track frame dates from the 1940s/early 1950s is in need of renovating - the paintwork is poor and there are are several dents, the largest of which is on the top of the top tube behind the head lug. It won’t affect the strength of the frame but it is quite obvious... hence £85. SOLD
