Nah, not Chris. Polo mallets? No hat? No flapping ears?
Looks more like Jack, but sounds like it's Manchester guy.

I don't go joy-poppin' with bubble-gummers! My friends can handle their highs!

I remember the drunken guy in Manchester. He was alright. Is it him?
Yup, It's Toby.

Toby isn't from Manchester, he's a Brightonite (at least he is now).
He's just starting to get into polo, and, as he is quite young, can't really afford a second bike (although I suspect that his red one will be polo-fied soon so that he can justify another bike).
I got Toby into the scene through his older brother (my ex-housemate) kinda accidently, but he is a very funny and bright kid. Although mostly drunk.

I never said he was. Read my first post on this thread

I thought he was living in Birmingham though.

Kinda, he was Shropshire based (where his folks used to live), but now has moved down to go to school in Brighton.

Woody (formally of MCR polo fame) is in Brighton now. They should get the scene going down there.

If Brighton polo gets going on weekend days I'll play during uni holidays.

• #64
moog star organizing it

I'm 30 miles away from Brighton and don't know anyone who rides there, I can't really help organising when and where but I can help with mallets etc.

We should organise a london to brighton polo ride? :-)
60 miles of spinny followed by a polo tourny and then 60 miles back?

Erm... I'll take the train.

I second the train idea. I don't fancy those climbs on 155 cranks.

Nhatt told me yesterday there was a thread and now, finally home, I feel I should make myself known.
This was the day I moved from Shropshire to Brighton and, cycling from Euston to London Bridge, passed some form of photoshoot. Being that I was moving and the truck had left the day before I had some stuff left with me and an impractically small bag. I had forgotten to get my mallets on the truck so I had to get it down.
Brighton polo will be together, fingers crossed, for the BFF tourney. I will be stone sober, shit and - in order that I might not be crucified - lacking drops, any gearing slightly higher than one for one and a less cunt haircut.*
I near certainly met you and berated you this weekend at the euros - although impressively only got fucked the last night.*maybe.
