for the record, the fasteners on them look a bit more permanent than race blades. those rubber tie things on the blades are forever migrating about my forks and the rubber pads have left permanent black stains on my seat stays.

allrighty, they've arrived and it's a big old box! Quick glance it seems to be both narrower blades and wider so you'll hopefully be fine jv.
I'll do a proper inventory tonight and starting matching them up, I'll let you know the verdict as soon as I'm done

allrighty, i've divided it up and it's pretty good but not perfect. It looks like we got 10 complete kits, with some missing mounting bits, + 3 front ones.
All rear fenders miss the mounting bits, though all front has them. We also got an assortment of metal rods that, with a bit of creative tinkering, I think you can build up to a complete kit. The mounting bits for the front works on the rear ( i think, haven't tried yet ) so basically we can all get a working rear fender and if we can be arsed, a front one too. you can use the front one over the rear tyre too, not sure how effective it will be though.
All are pretty narrow btw, about 30mm
All in I payed £35 for this, so i think £5 for a complete kit, £2 for just a front, is fair pricing. It'll total to £56, so 21 golden coins to the forum. Is everyone happy with that?
4 kits is bagged by me + three friends from the real world, the remaining 6+3 goes to the list.
Pickup is at Zetland House, 5-25 Scrutton Street, London EC2A 4HJ, close to Old Street round about. I can't run in and out of work too much, so I'd prefer pickup between 12-1 and after 6, tomorrow. Friday, 12-1 is cool too, or after 5.
Could the 6 first in line please PM me for phone nr so you can bell me when you're outside? Anyone keen on just a front, PM me too
heres a pic of what you're getting:
http://kallelind.com/mudguards.jpg
Please not though that the metal rod things differ a bit between the packs, some packs will be missing mounting screws for one of the fenders too, but for a fiver I reckon this is quite a good deal anyway
(off home now so will get back to replies tomorrow)
I'm happy. You happy?

Er... I have to admit I'm a bit confused - but that isn't difficult...
I don't mind the mounting screws for the rods missing as I guess these are fairly easy to find (Clerkenwell Screws maybe?), but will need the mounting brackets that go on the frame itself. So as long as there's a guard, rods and brackets for front and rear then all cool.

Ok to clarify so there's no confusion. What I got was:
10 rear guards
13 front guards
10 mounting brackets that goes on the frame
20 random metal rodsout of this I've put together 10 kits with:
1 rear guard
1 front guard
1 mounting bracket to fit one of them
2 random metal rods ( with a bit of tinkering, i think you can use these to attach the front fender, but I leave that up to you )Of course I could divide it up to 5 working kits, front and rear, but that'd leave me with way more leftovers and I think the rear one is most useful anyway? I'll only be using the rear anyway
Does that make more sense? I realize it's not a full mudguard kit, but that wasn't the deal either, it was a bit of a gamble but i reckon this is an ok deal for all + the forum?
