Too funny! with any luck I will be more accurate with my guesstimate.
Enjoy brighton. I cycled to Eastbourne and the along the coast to brighton on saturday. It was fantastic. You can ride with us next time.

Cheers for signing me up Jim.
Any idea of distance for this one, should I scrap all pretence of going to Polo in the later afternoon/evening?
Bring on the hills.

5-6 hours in the saddle. You will make it in plenty of time. Not sure how much energy you need to play Polo but I'm sure you will manage to find some ;-)

I'll eat and drink caffeine before hand so it'll be fine.
5-6 hours is ideal.Same meeting place as last time?

I'm scared of staying at your house. You might molest me.

last time you stayed at my place i woke up and there was blood all over the sheets
-
• #17
That's a vicious lie of ommission.
It was your blood, in your own bed, from the wound you inflicted on yourself when you fell off your bike because you were intoxicated.
Stop trying to denigrate my already tarnished name.

Yes same meeting place as last time 'Climpsons'

We should point out this is a geared/lycra'd up ride.
Definitely bring your gears. -

Discriminative.
-
• #24
Nope, just realistic I'm afraid.
It's a hilly route and will be riden in formation. A selection of gears and the ability to ride down hills faster than your legs can spin will be required.
Knowing the speeds we were hitting on the way to Southend-on-sea on Sunday it would be unfair to not advise people that this isn't your usual FGSS social ride.

Hi Girls & Guys.
I will be riding Surrey Hills on Saturday. Leaving at 8am from London Fields area. We can pick other riders up on Putney Bridge just before 9am if anyone lives that side of town and is keen. The ride will include Box Hill, Ranmore, Leigh Hill & possibly Picth Hill. We can encourage each other and stop for tea and cakes at the top of Box Hill. The long rides tend to be challenging and fun at the same time.
Keep upright!
Tash
