I would have thought suitable forks are everywhere on every abandoned old 70s bike, unless it's a dutch bike with really long head tube. Is that a raleigh? the mudguard looks like a Raleigh Tourist one.
If you can get to east drinks tomorrow I can supply a lovely chrome rimmed 26x1&3/8 wheel with sturmey archer rim and hub, and a reasonable tyre. suitable for caliper or roller-lever brakes.
