Selling my only geared bike. This is the Edinburgh Co-op Cycles own-brand Revolution Courier Race. The "Race" means 700c wheels, as others came with 26" MTB wheels.
Its a fast bike, and easily converted to ss/fixed. Its in good condition, but has some nicks and scrapes to the paintwork. Paint is charcoal grey, so can be spot-painted if one wishes. But its also an aluminium frame, so it won't oxidise as steel would.
All reasonable offers considered. I'll throw in a pair of Conti Sport Contacts (practically unused), and a set of drop bars (42cm, also practically unused). London collection only. Currently it has on it, and will be sold with, a pair of 23c Armadillo All Conditions.
Would make an excellent winter bike, as it has space for mudguards, and wider tyres. Its a size 18, so fits those from 5' 7" to 5' 11".
There's no front derailleur, and only the rear 8 spd set-up.
SPECIFICATION:
Frame: 7005-series aluminium for 700c wheels. Full mudguard and rack eyelets.
Forks: Steel with mudguard eyelets and low rider rack eyelets.
Wheels: Revolution Courier Race double-wall rims.
Formula hubs (cassette freehub rear). 32 x rustless spokes.
Tyres: Innova 700c x 32 tyres with Kevlar Inside.
Transmission: Shimano Alivio 8-speed shifter.
Shimano Alivio rear mech.
SunTour single-ring 175mm alloy chainset with 44t steel ring and alloy bash/trouser guard.
Shimano 11-32 cassette.
Wellgo steel-cage pedals (toeclip compatible).
Brakes: Tektro 837Al V-brakes. Shimano Alivio levers.
Handlebars: Kalloy 580mm flat bars on Revolution Courier Astem: 90mm on the 2 smaller sizes, 105mm long on the 22 inch model.
Saddle: Revolution Courier saddle on Revolution 350mm x 27.2mm micro-adjust seatpost.
Weight: 11kg (approx)
Sizes: 18 inch.
Colour: Charcoal.
