That's harsh. They were leading edge in about 1991. If getting overtaken by advances in technique and technology disqualifies a bike from porn, we need to purge this thread of steel road race bikes, anything with non-indexed gearing, bikes with toe clips etc.etc.
The pivot location is not so different from the tremendously effective Orange DH bikes which keep winning World Cup races
