Trade: Bizzare home made lo-pro/tt wannabe frame for something cool

Heres the deal, i got this frame for free(was chucking it out at sargent and co) and i'm not out to make a profit on this, but if its of interest to someone and they have a cool random part(not fussy) they feel is a good trade then lovely. If no-one offers anything you can have it for a hi5.

I have no idea if the work to the headtube was undertaken professionally or by a nutcase in his shed. Here's how it works i think. The steerer tube was cut allowing a 1" ahead stem to be clamped onto the fork tube below the headset for lo-pro status. I have no idea if this is a safe/practical idea - ride at your peril Lots of braze on the support behind steerer tube so prob beefy enough. Also i do not know if the frame was originally built this way or converted. Looks like a frame building students mad project, in a good way tho.
3 Internal cable routes on downtube(cables are in there, leave em in cos you'll never get em back in if you take em out, track ends with derailleur hanger lots of speed holes around the ends and on bb shell. Also has additional bracing on stays - again i have no idea why.
1 headset cup and a shimano bb installed(havent checked if seized).

Goes to whoever offers the most interesting trade who can pick it up from arsenal on wednesday. Offers run til mon but i don't care if it just gets taken away.

I have a gameboy with 1 game (Tetris, the only game you need) AND a baseball cap signed by 7 players from the 1993 Washington Redskins line-up. I think that's a pretty sweet excahnge for this deathtrap.

Just occured to me you could have the lo-pro status stem on the tube and also mount a normal threaded stem in the top! Double bar action!

This could be the best bet for this frame. Unless it get built as a deathbike for racing the spice route.
Replied to your pm diable, whether or not its doable is down to whoever picks it up, it seems completely solid but i'm no framebuilder so its in yer own hands.
Yes the dropouts are notched, along with the speedholes i have no idea why.

Clearly this bike is a deathtrap to some extent so it goes as a clown/polo/death frame, not a bike to ride hard every day!

I'd get it MOT'd by someone in the know. Need to speak to Fiddy for advice ;o))
