but lance has been tested positive. there is a link that i posted somewhere in this thread about an australian scientist who retested samples given to him by the uci with just numbers to identify each sample, a journalist then managed to get hold of the names linking to these numbers.
Lance was directly linked to samples testing positive but the uci did nothing and the press said very little.that interview is also NYVelocity with the cartoons Lance don't like
http://nyvelocity.com/content/interviews/2009/michael-ashendenand a very interesting interview with David Walsh from The Sunday Times

he's a good manLivestrong (TM) is not a charity; Lance Armstrong Foundation is a charity which owns Livestrong (TM) the brand which is used for profit and non-profit purposes. Livestrong.com is a for profit website owned by demand media which Lance has a significant personal stake in.

yeah well done. I'm sure he did something between cancer, recovery and coming 3rd in the tour.
Can't think what it was though.
hmmmm.

Did he ride a tall bike?
-
• #363
he built a fixie and hung out with cool people?
-
• #364
He had a bike covered in real butterflies. He deserves beating to death by militant vegans.
-
• #365
in that subject do you think that vegans object to taxidermy? Clearly they would for the most part but UK Taxidermy by and large is only the stuffing of animals that are already dead, whereas US Taxidermy the animals are often killed to order (or hunted).

Also vegans should start a commune in Nevada and call it Las Vegans.

I doubt Damien Hirst got all those exotic butterflies by peeling them off the front of his car! :-P
-
• #368
nope - he got his assistants to peel them off the front of his car…

I wasn't suggesting he did.

Love him.
He's probably the most drug tested athlete in history and he still hasn't failed one. I also can't believe that if he had drugged that someone somewhere wouldn't have sold that story. So to me he's clean
He's an incredible athlete and as for beating cancer and then winning the tour seven times - surely one of the greatest sporting achievements in history?
he's also very intelligent - seach on youtube for him putting down paul kimmage at a press conference in feb 2009. and also search him presenting the espn awards
the guy is a legend...

Ronaldo is a great footballer - still a cunt tho.
To me Armstrong is a cunt and a bully and that taints anything that he achieved, absolutely no class…

there are loads of cyclists who never tested positive but later confessed or were implicated in the festina/puerto investigations. what makes you think LA is different from them?

He's not even close to being the most tested athlete in the US, a nation notorious for it's lack of drug testing, never mind in 'history'.
Go and read this blog and educate yourself on drug controls;
if you read the article it does.
