ethanol should taste like vodka, seeing as that what it is albiet watered down, i.e. a neautral spirit. up until the fall of the USSR the spirit was produced by the governement (to 95-98% abv = ethanol) then passed on to companies to add water, bottle and sell the stuff. hence, why premium vodka is just a marketing scam [the premium you pay is for the water and the designer bottle]

What tosh is this? Ethanol should not have a taste. Good vodkas do.
Cheap Russian vodka is not good vodka.
Actually, all Russian vodka is shit and Polish vodka is win. :)
Although I am about to vomit my "breakfast" up so perhaps NO vodka is good and I should've stuck to water last night.
