got to head to Blandford first today, planning to do 30/40 k circuit around there taking in Bulbarrow hill back roads and back to Blandford then Poole.

I have just got up going to take the shorter route there in a bit and go back teh long route.

bout 67 k today Lucas, good training on the dips well done.
That circuit is top value, absolutely worth it for the 5 k descent alone.
that bit of the Wessex ridgeway is easily as good as anywhere in the south, climbs/descents comparable with South Downs -Sussex,North Downs -Kent, Leith Hill-Surrey, just more remote for most.

i know this is a longshot. but i am in **bournemouth **every week day for the nxt 3 months, and basically, i am DESPERATE to have a bike here. any chance of a loan?? i ride a 20"frame, anything smaller will be fine, or slightly bigger. just there is no way i can get mine down here for the time im visiting, and, even thought its my first day, i can tell how agitaved im getting without one.

anybody go cog night last night? perfect weather for fixie --skidders, our fixed number is growing.

Even though the weather was shocking 11 of us braved it and attended cog nite 5 in bournemouth, i managed to get to town for 7 when within 5 mins it pissed it down and turned the square into a sloppy ice rink, which made for some good times the rain carried on so it was off to asda carpark for tricks and lager, the rain cleared so we went for a mad burn round bournemouth town ripping it up as usual, then into oneills for a few and then into the multi story for some more trickage and trolley activity, then into the square ( more tricks ) then home by 11 so this was a fairly early night for a change coz of the monsoons and only half of us turned up but still a banging night! seems to be every cog nite wozza and myself arrange we get new riders and the nights get better and better. mark...

I did try finding you guys on Wednesday and had a bike of a ride through Bournemouth looking for the fixie skidders ... but you guys must have been hiding in ASDA carpark at the time.

Sorry I haven't been on here recently and more to the point not been riding with any of you. I have been busy at work and working mostly days recently so less wednesday afternoon time. I did get out with some mates last sunday, Charminster past the airport to burley and back via christchurch and the overcliff/lansdown. Great ride and about the only nice weather all weekend which was a bonus.

It was just after westbourne the bus stop opposite the pub on the way to Bournemouth... I was pretty sure it was you ... though I was paying attention to making sure I didn't run over any foreign students that seem to jump out like lemmings at that junction.
