    Front Mudguards?

  • your on a bike. there's nought you can do when it's pissing down. Just get wet and enjoy.
Although I did put the lights on, got pretty gloomy quickly.

  • front and back full "grandads bike" guards it was just chucking it down.... and as a final insult it was hot.

  • The ceiling in my kitchen is leaking. Hooray.

  • my roof is leaking...

    We should start a club.

  • I got in about an hour ago, after 5 miles in the downpour. Apart from taxi drivers nearly squashing me every 5 mins because they couldn't see through their fogged up rear windows it was quite fun.

  • When I got home my dad said to me "you might as well have swam home".

  • ^You've got to love helpful comments like that

  • Another guy having a ciggie outside a con club said to me "mate, it is too late for an umbrella" and another classic was "urgh, you deserve it you cyclist twat."

  • That'll teach hipster to laugh at my mudguards....... Im only wet on my head torso... arms..... legs.... hmm shoes are full of water too.... but im not muddy... sigh....

no point to have them in this weather ;)
glad to finish work so close home at 6:20
sorry 4 everyone else especially Eddy who had the late shift and finish 30min ago
    poor thing.
    I'm on 21:30 2mora praying 4 better weather!!!

  • Now im thinking "yeah rain hard.. hard as you like.. just dont rain at 6 tomorrow..."

  • based on the leakage from flat above this is the worst rainfall in the last three years

  • The rain started so quickly that by the time I thought about my rain jacket, it wasn't worth it, so I just kept going. Glad to be fixed in this type of weather as rim brakes don't do much in 3 inches of water. By the time I got home I poured a load if water out of my sidi's!

Just hope the brooks is dry by the morning otherwise it will stretch way too much.

  • The rain burns my eyes!

  • Awe, it's shitty that such a lovely day has ended like this..... but is so lovely and liberating to ride in the rain...... you can't fight it! just have to ride with it :)

  • Dark Times

  • Awe, it's wonderful that such a lovely day has ended like this

    fixed

  • that was ace.
    though my feet burn.

  • Damn rain meant the bbq I was meant to go to got cancelled, now I'm getting drunk in front of the tv.

    oops

    oops

you are dry and pissed same as me = result

  • Fhtffumf!

  • ^That's easy for you to say.

  • fixed

    Of course

  • I've been a tubenger and a walkenger today, and I just got In a black cab with a driver who was sympathetic to our cause! He said he admired me for riding in London with all the shit drivers (himself included). Granted, he blamed the immigrants and the learner scooter riders for the ills of the road and the lack of a pie mash shop in battersea, and charged me a small fortune for getting himself stuck in traffic, but I didn't get wet.

I'm not sure who the winner is here...
