  • I just got soaked. No matter: came home to my new Pelaton LFGSS T to change into.

  • I'm stuck at work with entirely inappropriate gear, wishing it would just ease off a bit...

  • MAN! it's crazy out there... Hoping it eases off before I have to head out. Also, only the shorts and t-shirt from this mornings sunny cycle in to wear... I feel for anyone getting caught out in this!

  • i am wet wet wet

  • Exactly the same here - white jeans material type shorts and my anatomy t-shirt that arrived today.

Ooh - I think I just heard it stop..?

  • my roof is leaking...

  • bucketts

  • you should wait for the brosdcast at 8

  • Seems to be easing off - from my vantage point on Pentonville Road there is a lot less surface water now.

  • Well, a bit less.

  • Maybe I'll put everything I own in my pac, and ride in my pants.

  • That was nucking futs. I could pour pints from my shoes. Bloody fun though. I'm soaked but at least my laptop is dry. Product plug alert... deuter bag with waterproof cover works.

    Need new brakes though.

  • Heavy Rain Alert = Constipated Holmes

  • That'll teach hipster to laugh at my mudguards....... Im only wet on my head torso... arms..... legs.... hmm shoes are full of water too.... but im not muddy... sigh....

  • best thing ever in the rain: cycle cap.
    worst thing: heavy cotton socks.

  • I was wearing white tube socks... not white no more boyeeee

  • What you want is one of these with holes cut in for your eyes - kind of a cycling hijab:

  • Yes, sorry, getting my muslims mixed.

  • rain now leaking through windows......

  • rain now leaking through windows......

    close them.

So glad i put the mudguard back on despite it being sunny and bright.... well, here goes...

  • Peeeewwwwfffff!!!!! Just got home. Wringing wet.

It's a mite moist out, eh.

Worst bit wasn't the cycling (plenty of smiles exchanged with other cyclists coming the other way), and you're fairly warm while you're moving. I was more bothered that in the gloom and the pissing rain, something might not see me. Hate not having my lights.
