  • As a very old person, I have a lo-pro which fits perfectly becasue it was built to fit, with the dimensions taken straight off my road bike. The handling is a little bit different; as edscoble's pic shows, the effect is like having a very long stem on a road bike for the same position, which slows down the steering, but then the small front wheel quickens it up again. The weight balance is more on the front wheel than the road bike, due to shortening the front centres without changing the chainstay length. This effect is magnified if you run tribars very low, as I used to when I was younger and more supple, resulting in the back wheel catching air over high speed bumps. In fact, it was tribars which did for the lo-pro, as few people needed the small front wheel to get a low enough position.
