Awsome night people. Thanks alot to everyone who made it up the hill for Norths first birthday. Thanks to Duncan for time keeping, Alb for the prizes, Noel for the photos, and everyone who raced. It was a fantastic night. It was great to see loads of first timers there as well as old faces from all over london. Lets hope this year is as good as the last. North driks FTW!!!!

Great first drinks for me - I too impressed my girlfriend by rolling in, six pints deep in a Pukes on Cock tshirt jabbering about the supposed merits of barreling down highgate hill pissed.
Painful hangover today though - after about seven pints of water this morning my kidneys are pinging around inside me like coked up bees.
Great to meet everyone - I'm sure I'll show again soon

It was great to meet everyone last night, hopefully by next time I will have built up the courage to flip my hub to fixed (my my that sounds rude) and attempt to pull my sorry ass up swaines! The only casulties were coming to a crashing halt outside my flat at 1am and my head this morning.
Vicks - 6-6.30 Nottinghill Tube tomorrow - see you there

Hope you and the bike are ok - did the evening progress in Camden after Alb and I bailed?

Bike seemed ok last night? Noel?
Yeah, swift nightcap at the mixer.
Fuck me I feel rough, just tried a pint of the black stuff as hair of the dog. Didn't work.
Awesome evening all.

Was a good evening indeed, great to see such a massive turnout. Thanks to everyone who organised/timed/baked or contributed in any other way.
Felt like I had good (beer) legs on the way back up from Camden at 1 and briefly considered hitting Swains again, seemed like a good way to finish off the evening. Somewhat unsurprisingly, common sense got the better of me.

Yikes dude, hope you're ok. I narrowly avoided a similar incident on way home...
Bike seemed ok last night? Noel?
Ridable but lovely rubbing sound from the front wheel cos its now out of whack.
I'm okay, think the cabby was more terrified when out of nowhere 10 loud and drunken cyclists surrounded his cab and started talking about police, number plates, lawsuits and paying more attention.
In hindsight I should of asked him for a few quid to sort out the wheel as he'd gotten off lightly by not actually causing any physical damage to me. Oh well, live and learn.

First post for me here after a cool night on the hill. Really enjoyed it despite not knowing anyone and was great to meet a few of you. Definitely gonna be a regular Tuesday event for me from now on.

Forgot to say thanks to whoever supplied the cigars. I was chomping on one for quite a while, nobody wanted to take it off me.

Result!
you can count the number of new North drinks groupies on one hand. as a marketing exercise to get more fools riding fixed up and down steep hills, pissed.. this is a raging success!Have to love North drinks; home baked Cakes & Muffins, iphone timing app, queues at the bar and formal presentation.
Mumbles - Wests are going to have to raise the bar!
