andy roxburgh said that senderos was the best under 18 player he's ever seen, this was in the under 18's euros which the swiss won in 2000.. roxburgh was tech director for fifa back then and knows his shit, its a shame he hasnt matured into the player he should be, however... rio at the same age was similar in the mistakes he made although his distribution and confidence were always high.
senderos to me doesnt utilise his physical strength like he should for a centre back, plus the psychological damage from what drogba has done to him over the last few seasons has killed him.. every big striker knows they can roll him and intimidate him.. and for a centre back thats no good. i suppose arsene and arsenal have to take a lot of blame for that as over the last few years they've not really had the types of defenders which can bring youngsters up.. campbell, toure, gallas are not defenders defenders.. i suppose campbell is, but he's not the most talkative of defenders... adams, bould, dixon etc would have disciplined and nurtured senderos a hell of lot more.
+1
Senderos will do okay, Moyes has the knack.. communication is key for everton at the back.. i will watch him with new eyes, when arsenal visit..
being swiss he probably speaks about fifteen languages now including ghanian, ivory costal, french, polish, spanish, czech, croatian, brazilian, russian, dutch, cameroonian.. the swear words at least..
