Hmmmm, I have a fucked HED3 that I've been wondering what to do with. I'm sure it could be 'converted' into a monospoke ;)
MIT - from a few years back - same deal as what you propose, they ran finite element analysis tests (tautology?) - and reckon it is rideable (I am not sure how they define 'rideable')
If you can finish it off quite well - with nicely sanded down edges and all that and manage to get some footage of you cycling (regardless of whether it collapses after the cameras are switched off) you could open up the whole LexCarbon Myth to a new generation !!
