Bike id help please

Hi all, i was wondering if someone could give me some help identifying this bike. I have had it a while now and was told it was a Claud Butler when i got it but im not too sure. Its my everyday runaround and i really do love it but i would like to know what it actually is and how old it is.... any Claud Butler experts out there? Thanks.

your best bet, is to post a pic of the underside of the bottom bracket, look for numbers etc.

yeah unfortunately there are no numbers! i have searched high and low.

close ups of thbe seat tube cluster, the rear dropouts, bottom bracket and decals on it would help.
a lot of uk makers use to stamp the serial number on the steerer tube

Ha ha, I was wondering if anyone would notice the deceptacon stickers, I think they work rather well. Yeah I had a feeling it might be on the steerer but that's a job for another day. I will take a few more pics when I get home.

if the forks are original, i think claud butler stamps the serial number on the steerer as well.
