Judging by the picture you could probably still pop that lock open with a small crowbar, even if it is 18mm.
Or even a bic pen?
PS I have the ABUS 16mm (square section) granit extreme (RRP 170quid), it weighs 3.0kg, so you could rate the sterling based on relative weight.
